When it comes to leaking roofs, many homeowners are looking for leaks in all the wrong places. You no longer have to be one of them. Use a flashlight to inspect the attic floor over the leak while it's raining. If you see standing water, water stains, mold, wet insulation or other exposed insulation, you've found what you've been looking for.
